A five-week, 25-resource unit built from the resource audit. It combines 12 existing assets, one reuse, and 12 print-ready builds. This is a design-and-media unit, not a repeat of Persuasion Speech.

Audit evidence. The audit lists 5 confirmed Advertisement assets, but four are rights-flagged Young Change Agents challenges. Only the Print Advertising Toolkit is directly usable. The 65 adjacent assets are mostly Persuasion Speech, US argument, or senior visual literacy. This pack therefore uses 12 reviewed assets, one reuse, and 12 builds. It is the fourth pack and the most build-heavy.

Before you teach

  • Only the Print Advertising Toolkit is confirmed. The four confirmed Young Change Agents challenges have a rights flag and are excluded.
  • Check every YouTube link in Advertisement Analysis before class. Replace dead links and confirm each campaign is age-appropriate for your school.
  • Use Magazine Covers with sensitivity: it uses a US 9/11 memorial context. It is not a core text and can be replaced with a teacher-selected cover.
  • Adapt Media Literacy Stations before use. It is a US news-literacy resource, not an advertising lesson.
  • Treat Argumentative Rubric and Logical Fallacies Quiz as extension only. Both are senior or AP-style.
  • Adapt the dystopian framing in Propaganda Check List before using it as an advertisement checklist.
  • Use Visual Language Techniques Analysis Table and Persuasive Devices Table as templates, not complete lessons.
  • Normalise US spelling and US examples in the reviewed assets.
  • Require original or copyright-free images, no real logos, and no misleading claims.
  • Do not use this pack as a repeat of Persuasion Speech. The focus here is visual and verbal design for an audience, not spoken argument.
